A home’s interior is always made cosier with curtains and blinds. Without these window treatments, the interior decor looks bland and uninviting. In the house, we have a mix and match of window treatments. I layered curtains and voile for our massive patio doors though in the bedroom, I layer the curtains with blinds. Roman blinds to be exact. Now these are ready made blinds that you just buy in the shop and cut as per your window measurement. Now, we have a massive window right across the stairs landing which I haven’t decided what window treatment to use with it. Do I go for voile, curtain or blinds.
As I have mentioned earlier, most of our blinds are ready made ones bought in the shops. This time though I would prefer custom made to measure ones and I have been perusing the internet and have found the best three that I think would deliver what I have in mind.
Hillary’s – There are a lot of choices on the site which makes it harder to decide on which type of blinds to go for. Roller, Roma, vertical, wooden- the choices are endless. I am partial to neutral colours and they have several selections in brown and beige so definitely spending time on this site.
VELUX – Having landed on this site has made it even more difficult to decide at first what with the good quality looking blinds that were presented right before my eyes. Good thing they have a support section on the website that helps you narrow down the selection to get the perfect blinds for your windows.
Dunelm – I am a frequent Dunelm visitor and I did not realise they do made to measure blinds until now when I searched online. This is a very good option on top of their made to measure curtains of which is very easy to avail of. Things are made easier because of these customised service options that are available.
Now that I have all these good options on where to avail of my made to measure blinds, all I need to do now is to decide which type of blinds to go for. Not an easy feat but I will get there.
