Charlotte Tilbury has been on my radar for a while now. My interest in her makeup range started quite recently as I have read and heard only great reviews about it. I feel like I am in a makeup rut lately that I decided to try a few of her products. I did not know where to start so I decided to get the Quick N Easy Face Kits Natural Glowing Look. I think this is a great idea considering the products are on the expensive side. Consumers would not want to shell out that much money then realise it does not suit them. Giving the consumer a teaser with the little pre-packaged kit is a way of having their foot in the door, so to speak.
I love every single product in this makeup kit. So far, judging on the items included in the kit alone, Charlotte Tilbury is worth a splurge. The following is a rundown of each and every product in the Quick N Easy 5 Minute Makeup Natural Glow.
Beach Stick in Moon Beach – I have a couple of favourite blushers. This has just made it to my top three. It is very natural on my skin and considering it is similar to a cream blusher, it stays on. This will probably be my go-to blusher for the upcoming Spring and Summer.
Color Chameleon in Amber Haze – Now this one is a beautiful dark brown bronzy kind of colour. I love wearing it for day and night and it stays on the eyelids like crazy as it sets once applied. My only dislike about it is the shimmer. Without the shimmer, this would be perfect for me.
Legendary Lashes – I haven’t met a mascara that I like until now. Most mascaras irritate my eyes and they did not tend to make much difference on my lashes that I felt it was not worth the trouble. Either they do not accentuate and give volume enough or do not elongate them at all, so why bother. The Legendary Lashes really is legendary. Aside from not giving me watery eyes, it accentuates my barely there lashes by giving it volume and adding length to them. After using the kit for over a week, I eyes feel bare without them.
Matte Revolution in Very Victoria – I was never a fan of matte lipsticks as despite the fact that they last longer. I do not like the drying effect it give to my lips. The matte revolution lipstick is a creamier formulation. It still does dry the lips but only very slightly. It does last forever. Even after eating your full meals, at the end of the day, you still have the colour on. The shade is also a very nice nude that probably would suit any skin colour. This is my everyday lip colour as of late.
Wonder Glow – This works very well as a primer but I have only used it as a highlighter with a little dab on the top of my cheekbones and forehead, giving me that dewy look.
Charlotte Tilbury is worth the hype. The products are well formulated, has fantastic staying power and the rose gold packaging was very well thought of. I will definitely be buying again. I already have my eye on the Lip Cheat lip liner in Pillow Talk and the Matte Revolution lipstick in the same shade. Wish my purse luck.
